Thy Word is a Lamp

THY WORD IS A LAMP

Circumstances distress.
The mind flits
from thought to thought,
distraught through
lack of comprehension.

In the unrest
God's settled Word
brings forth a glow...
   of illuminated understanding,
    an assurance of God's goodness,
    a steady peace,
and a knowing that all is well.
