Honey and Perfume
What else costs
so little
yet can be
honey on
our bread of life,
perfume in
the air we breathe?
Though some souls
may not deem them
sustenance
nor call them
necessities,
kind words
and acts
freely given
and done
nourish and sweeten
our very existence.

"...I tell you the truth, wherever the gospel is preached
throughout the world, what she has done will
also be told, in memory of her." Mark 14:9 NIV
""he King will reply, 'I tell you the truth,
whatever you did for one of the least of
these brothers of mine, you did for me'...."
Matthew 25:40 NIV
(Note: Mary's anointing gift was very costly. See John Chapter 12.)
